ANTI-ROTATION DEVICE AND CIRCULATING HEAD

The Anti-Rotation Device (ARD) controls and releases any reactive torque generated from the use of downhole drilling motors.

Overview

The Completion Energy’s patented Anti-Rotation Device (ARD) controls and releases any reactive torque generated from the use of downhole drilling motors. The ARD tool mechanically removes any reactive torque that can be generated from the tool string at the rig floor. To increase worker safety, Completion Energy has designed the ARD tool not having any external moving parts which are highly dangerous exposure to the service rig personnel. The ARD device also acts as the circulating head having flow passages and screens, which allows any fluid to be circulated to efficiently operate the motor assembly

APPLICATION

  • Controls any reactive torque that can be generated during completions or drilling operations, with service and workover rigs
