The CE CT External Slip Connector creates a full bore sealed joint between the outside of the coiled tubing and the CT tool string. The joint O.D. matches that of the tool string.
The tapered slips with internal teeth bite onto the tubing and pull up into a tapered bowl, in a similar manner to an overshot; the harder the CT pull the harder the bite is, turning it into a very strong connector.
The Dimple On/Extractor Tool is a precision tool used to make the dimple pattern to suit the Dimple CT Connector.
